Tangan-tangan janjang mewakili dan melambangkan norma-norma dalam pelaksanaan demokrasi melalui mufakat, norma-norma tersebut harus dilandasi oleh langgam Adat, Undang-undang Luhak dan Agana Islam untuk mencapai hasil yang maksimal dan sekaligus untuk menghindari masyarakat dan kerajaan dari jurang kehancuran sebagai akibat hasil-hasil proses demokrasi yang tidak mengikuti norma-norma yang semestinya.
Slender hands represent and symbolize the norms in the implementation of democracy through consesus. These norms must be based on Indigenous Law, Luhak and Islamic to achieve maximum results and at the same time to avoid people and kingdoms from the brink of collapse as the results of the democratic process tha does not follow proper norms.
